RIP Harddrive

It seemed like it was going so well, trying to have my dead harddrive restored again, but it is apparently unrecoverable. So I really will have to redraw everything now; I feel more determined than ever, though, to be able to make printed copies of this comic someday, so I will just have to go forward and remake it all (and take the opportunity to retcon some backgrounds while I'm at it, heh). At least it's not completely from scratch. I'll try to test my speed so the hiatus will not last too long.

Continuation

So, the updates will be in black and white for a while! Attempting to redraw 25 pages of work just to be able to color it was getting really depressing, I wasn't updating anyway, and I wanted to move on. I will return to them when I am able to get the lineart back - or suck it up and redraw if they are lost for good, but in the meantime I am just going to post my backups (with some edits) until mid-Chapter Three, when it returns to color.

Thanks for reading!

Returning!

So! I pretty much can't get my drive back without paying a couple hundred bucks for it, so I have reluctantly decided to just redraw from my small lineart JPGs. I have been trying to rein in the perfectionism of redoing old stuff over and over but...I kind of have a good excuse now! I won't go back and redo any of the colored stuff till I'm caught up on the rest, though.

So you can expect some updates soonish...I just have to redraw each page before I can color and post it, sigh. Some panels I'm happy about this, but most of them I'm internally screaming "I liked this the way it was! I don't want to have to redo it!" Oh well. I was a whole chapter ahead lineart-wise, but at least it wasn't totally lost. I don't think I could have come back from having to do it all again from scratch.

Hiatus

As of 11/5/13

Sorry, ye few watching out there, but it turns out my external hard drive, where I keep - well, kept - all my big artwork files - is now toast until I can scrape up enough money to get it professionally recovered, so until I can hopefully get all my pages back, I can't update. If it turns out I can't get them back, I can use my small JPGs of the lineart and redraw the things, but I'd rather not unless I have to. Anyway, thanks for reading up till now. Isn't technology great? :P
